Summer break

How's it going?

I'm reappearing in the blog after a short summer break with chilly news: I've spent this last month in improve my creative arts and I've learned a lot crafting two veeery special custom pieces in .999 silver, a ring and an articulated pendant. I'm really proud of them! Shortly I'll post a pair of pictures so you can give me your opinion ^^

How's it going?

Many times, although I have like a million of sketched designs and another million riped for the picking, I sit in front of my working table to craft... and I forget about sketches and everything: one piece here, another there and let's give imagination a push!

And although I would like to say "I'm going to focus on make this piece-to-be" and make it, the fact of haven't a predetermined route gives me a boundless creative freedom that often results in really interesting and original creations...

How's it going?

As you know, one of my specialties is stumbling around in styles, techniques and materials; do not cling to anything, try everything.

So, as I do not usually do any headpieces, and as I do not usually use feathers, it was only a matter of time before this pheasant feathers headpiece was created:

Chains, gears, a key and a filigree base in bronze tone;
felted back with a metal alligator clip.

Custom orders everywhere

How's it going?

This week I'm late in writting this post because I was finishing lots of custom orders that I have been accumulating... Not because of laziness, but in some cases for lack of pieces and as always by lack of time U_U

Although I still have several commisions to finish, I have finished a Cernunnos necklace, another gears necklace and "redesigned" a pair of mother-of-pearl earrings... Not bad for not having had time, right? XP
